I am officially an idiot

So....I am going to cut right down to the chase on this one....

I am an idiot.

I am about to receive a Masters degree and I am an idiot.

Okay, so my dad and Bryan were out running errands yesterday. I needed to get fingerprinted for my new "job" out here and so that was the last thing on our list. I told the boys that I would just go while they stayed at home and then we could all take naps! I really wanted to get there and back quickly and I wanted a nap. Bryan was on the computer and my dad said that he wanted Bryan to go with me. I said "I don't need to be babysat. I'm a big girl and I can go by myself. I will see you guys in a bit." So, without waiting for Bryan, I left.

So I am driving my father's car to get fingerprinted and I get down the street and the next thing I know, the airbags are ejected in my face and there is smoke in the car.

Yep.

I got in an accident.

Not just any accident. I hit a parked car!!!!!!!!!!! a HALF block from my house! I got distracted and this parked car was parked about 1 1/2 feet over into the street more than it should have been and BAM I hit it....

So now Bryan and I have to buy my father a new car (it is his ONLY car) and our issuance refuses to pay, I have marks all over my chest and neck from the airbag (those things HURT!) and I am sore and bruised up.

Walkin' in Memphis!

I am home and sooooo in heaven (well, besides the allergies to the cats who lives with both my parents). I have been home since Tuesday night, and since then I have pretty much done...NOTHING!!! Well not really nothing, but definitely nothing related to school! I have played the Wii with husband, cleaned my dad's house, eaten a LOT of fabulous food, and gotten a lot of sleep!

Today we are putting up the Christmas tree, going shopping with my mom and going to a movie at the cheap show. What a wonderful Saturday!

I just finished my last final exam....Oh yeah baby!!!!!

Freedom from school!!

Now for the rest of the things on my list...lets see:

1) Run to post office to send off packages

2) CPR certification class tonight for 3 HOURS!

3) Organize all clinic stuff so they will be finally easier to locate

4) Clean out car

5) Clean house from top to bottom (leaving on Monday for Memphis so I hate a dirty house)

6) Finish packing (for me and Buns)

7) Send thesis to library for bounding

8) Get paperwork to take to Memphis

9) Get mats for Monday clinic

10) Finish all the seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond (my fun!)

11) Give spare key to Lisa

12) Dinner at Miranda's house on Sunday

13) Clinic on Monday

14) Go to Wal-Mart

I think thats it for now....we will see how this weekend goes! I leave for Memphis in 5 days!!!!

So close!

So...my classes and clinics are done and now...I have two more finals separating me from FREEDOM!!!!

At this point, I am not really worried about not passing and thats all I really care about right now...just passing and getting out of here. I am so tired of classes, and tests, and kissing butt, and sucking up, and avoiding people....etc.

I am so excited for Christmas, for family and for food! I love the holidays!
