Pinterest?....

What the heck is that?!

You can read all about it here, but basically, I am picking things I want to do that I have been too lazy, scared, or poor to do before, and I am DOING them! Then I blog about it. My dear friend Mari talked to me about it, and I thought it was a wonderful idea. : )

I am copying her pinterest #1 (sorry mari) but it was so cute, I couldn't resist! So here goes!

Pinterest #1 Newspaper nails!

Thats right! Newspaper on my nails (no these are not my nails..) I forgot to take before pictures, but I borrowed a couple from Mari to show the prep and then I have my after photos. :)

First I painted my nails this awesome green called "Green with envy". Make sure whatever color you pick is relatively light or otherwise the newspaper will not show.

Then get rubbing alcohol and small pieces of newspapers. I would recommend getting even some super small print, it seemed to show up better.

Then, dip your finger into the rubbing alcohol and while your finger nail is still wet, lay and press the newspaper to your nail. I held it for about 15 secs and then peeled off. It is super hard to see....my camera sucks...but it worked!! I was super excited. A little clear coat and presto! Make sure when you put the top coat on that you are careful not to smudge it.

Cute idea right?! Okay...so here is the challenge. Although I do not have a ton of people following my blog and although I am not the best at doing this myself, I am sending a challenge to all of you to DO!
