My dream would be to have shelves with doors, bare shelves and a bar to hang things on to dry, plus I would like something to help utilize this for a "mud room". Like maybe shoe take or something.
I need suggestions please???? Help!!! I have attached old pictures to assist with ideas!

I don't know if it would fit...probably not.. But maybe a storage bench? that could be used to take off shoes/fold laundry... thats my only idea right now, but its early.. :)
you could make a shelf to go over the top of the washer & dryer. then get a narrow organizer for all your soap & stuff to go in the space between the w&d. then you'd clear up your shelves as they are now, and could build in your shelves with doors. as for a drying rack, there are some pretty neat ones that can fold up to the wall so they only take up space when something is hanging on them.
for shoe storage, check out the stall system from ikea. it's really compact. also, a bench with baskets and/or hooks on the wall make an easy but functional mud room in not much space. good luck!
