Buns and I had a very lovely V-day weekend. Although Valentine's day was on a Tuesday, I feel that all holidays, birthdays, etc should be celebrated for more than just one day. We decided that we would go out to dinner and a movie over the weekend first.
Dinner was an adventure! Since the movie was starting at 7:40 we thought that going to dinner around 5:30. The thought that it was not only a Saturday night, but also the weekend before valentine's day did not seem to phase us. So when we pulled into the parking lot and the wait time was...1 hour and 45 minutes, we had a quick change of plan. We ended up going to Chevys and had a really nice time. We now have another food place to go to.

After dinner we went to the movie! I got to pick it and I chose a very sappy chick flick. :)
It was actually a very good movie, although Buns felt that they could have done more with the story. Although I do agree that it was a simple story, I really liked the movie and I am totally going to buy it once it comes out on video. It was romantic, funny, sad and inspiring. Valentine's day is almost the only time where I can pick the sappiest chick flick and there is no complaints.
Then on the actual v-day I was not feeling well, and Buns was in school ALL DAY LONG. HOWEVER, he completely outdid himself and truly gave me a "grand gesture".
First: Love
Then: Fun
(these are chocolate bath brittle, lol)
Then: From the Heart
(He wrote me a letter while at school about why he loves me....awww...)
Needless to say, I had a wonderful romantic valentine's day. I love you Bryan!!
How was your v-day????
